The wash, dry, and fold service costs:
Regular Service: $1.50 per pound ($35 Minimum) Drop off and  Pick up Orders only. / $2.25/lbs . $67.50 minimum includes pick up and delivery for Riverside residents.
Speedy Service: $2.75 per pound for same-day service, picked up and returned the same day no later than 9pm. ($50 Minimum) pick up and delivery is included
For large or bulky items, there’s an additional charge of $12 per item on top of the selected service cost.

We provide complimentary pickup and delivery services for residents in the local Riverside area if orders are 35lbs or more. 

Certainly! When placing your order, whether online or scheduling a pickup, be sure to utilize the comments or special instructions section to outline your preferences. If you prefer to place your order by phone or text, you can still provide specific instructions by contacting us after your order has been placed. Additionally, you have the option to leave a written note with your laundry items detailing any special requests you may have. This can include instructions such as request for items to be hung dry (hangers provided), specific wash or dry temperatures, detergent preferences Regular or Hypo, if you have a specific brand we do not use you are more than welcome to provide the detergent and it will be returned with your laundry.

Yes, There is a minimum order requirement for the free pick up and delivery service. For regular service with next-day delivery, the minimum order is $67.50. For speedy service with same day delivery, the minimum order is $50. 

Yes, there is. For speedy service, orders cannot exceed 50 lbs. However, for our regular service, there is no weight limit. In some cases, orders over 100 lbs may require an additional day to process, depending on the items in the order. Rest assured, we will always keep you informed if additional time is needed.

If you have a specific time in mind for us to pick up the laundry, it will be collected within a 30-minute to an hour window. The same applies for requested delivery times. For orders with flexible timing, pickups will be made before 2pm and deliveries will be completed by 9pm. However, please note that the exact timing may vary depending on the volume of orders scheduled for that day.

Typically, laundry is returned within 24 hours for our regular next-day service. However, if the order exceeds 100lbs, it may take an additional day to complete. For those in need of speedy service, we deliver within 6 hours or less. In the event that we exceed the 6-hour timeframe, you will only be charged the regular service fee. 2. Sorting: Once your laundry is received, it will be sorted by type, color, and fabric to ensure proper washing and care.
3. Washing: Your clothes will be washed using appropriate detergents and settings for each type of fabric.
4. Drying: After washing, your clothes will be dried using either a tumble dryer or air-drying methods, depending on the fabric and your preferences.
5. Folding: Once dry, your laundry will be carefully folded or hung as per your request.
6. Delivery: Your freshly cleaned and folded laundry will be delivered back to you according to the service you selected (Regular or Speedy).

There is no fee to set up any recurring services. Simply contact us to discuss your preferences, whether you prefer weekly, bi-weekly, or a specific day of the week. We will work with you to create a schedule that meets your needs.

We can take care of washing any machine washable items for you. However, please note that there will be an extra fee for large or bulky items.

The cost for washing and drying these items separately is an additional $12 per item, in addition to the regular cost per pound. Our machines are cleaned after each customer's order to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper hygiene. We utilize our machines' clean wash options and use chemicals to effectively eliminate bacteria and odors during the cleaning process.

One method to determine the weight of each bag is to first weigh yourself on a scale, then pick up the bag of laundry and weigh yourself again. The difference between the two weights is the weight of the laundry. Another approach is to utilize a 13-gallon kitchen trash bag, as these bags typically weigh anywhere from 15-35 lbs when filled to the point where they won't tear. In my experience, the bag usually doesn't weigh more than 30 lbs. This can provide an estimate of how much each load will cost or your entire order.

Yes, Specialty items like delicate fabrics are treated with specific washing instructions to avoid damage. They are usually washed on gentle cycles, low heat or some are air-dried to preserve the fabric's integrity. No we do not charge a fee for delicate items.

we pre-treat white clothing with stains for an hour at no extra cost. We always do our best to get rid of those pesky stains, but we can't guarantee they'll be completely gone. We don't want to risk damaging the fabric, so sometimes the stains just won't budge. 

Our laundry service prioritizes customer satisfaction by treating clothes with care and attention to detail. We offer affordable pricing options, starting from $1.50 per pound for regular service and $2.75 per pound for speedy service. We provide fast delivery options, specialty services, and personalized care for each customer's unique needs.

Typically, we rely on well-known detergent brands such as Persil, Arm and Hammer, Purex, or All. The same applies to hypoallergenic detergents, where we generally use the aforementioned brands. For fabric softeners, we opt for Downy or Tide, and we utilize dryer sheets to eliminate lint or odors. If you prefer a specific brand that we do not currently stock, you are welcome to provide your own detergent, which will be returned to you along with your laundry.

Restricted items include hazardous materials, leather, suede, fur, and heavily damaged items. Items that clearly state needs to be dry clean we cannot service. Additionally, any items with feces, urine, or excessive pet hair will incur a $25 fee. If you are unsure about any particular items, please feel free to ask, and we will provide guidance on how they will be handled.

Laundry by Joyce is a home-based laundry and pickup/delivery service. We pick up your laundry, wash, dry, fold, and return it to your home — so you don’t have to visit a laundromat.

Yes, you can schedule a specific time for both the pick-up and delivery of your laundry. When you book a service, simply provide your preferred pick-up and delivery times, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

We cannot wash cloth diapers at our home laundry because California health codes, Riverside zoning, and sanitation regulations prohibit this type of soiled laundry in residential settings.
